My husband and I were very excited to try the new Subida Cafe! This cute place is owned by Mark Bautista and is in Taguanao, Cagayan de Oro City.
The place
The Hulak cafe Cagayan De Oro City has an intimate size and cozy vibe; you’ll find a comforting ambiance instantly. It was small and tidy. It’s like stepping into your own cozy home.
The Food
We ordered some pesto pasta and coffee (mocha and americano). The coffee is good, and the food and its size are really good value for money.

Bar/Alfresco Area
There was an outdoor area with a minibar that was not yet ready but had a stunning view. In the outdoor area, there were a few tables and chairs, as well as some cozy couches. However, the view from this terrace was its most attractive feature. This location is perfect for taking beautiful pictures of the stunning views of Cagayan De Oro City, after which you can unwind and take in the peace.
Parking Lot
The parking lot outside was quite wide which made us feel extra comfortable about coming here with our car.
Downsides
The main disadvantage of this café is its location. If you don’t have a car, it might be hard to get to this cafe, which is away from the busy downtown area. But if you have a car, it’s easy to see them!
Conclusion
We had an awesome time at the cafe, and we can’t wait to visit again!
