August Cafe & Restaurant Cagayan De Oro City

For today’s blog, my family and I decided to try a different restaurant with stunning views and ended up finding August Cafe and Restaurant in Sta Cruz, Camaman-an, Cagayan de Oro City.

August Cafe & Restaurant | Cagayan De Oro City

August Cafe and Restaurant is a newly opened cafe with a stunning view of the city. It took us about 15-20 minutes to drive from the city proper to the cafe. When we arrived, we couldn’t help but take pictures of the place due to the breathtaking view it offers and the fresh air. It was a very clean place, and they had a few different areas where you can dine, including a closed air conditioned area, a roof deck, and an al fresco area. We chose the alfresco area as it was more comfortable for us with the kids, and was also not too hot due to the winds blowing through.

The parking lot at August Cafe was spacious and easy to locate. We had no trouble finding a spot to park our car.

The Food

We placed our orders and It typically takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes for our orders to be ready and served. The presentation of the food was very attractive and they were generous with the serving sizes. We had two Breakfast steak meals, one breakfast bacon meal, August fried chicken, and an additional peach-mango sparkler for the kids. The meals were already bundled with free Cafe americano coffee, but you can ask for any modifications or upgrades you want.

Their coffee americano – My husband Dan and I love their coffee Americano. The coffee is rich and flavorful, and it tastes great. It’s not too strong and not too weak, but just right.
Their best seller peach mango sparkler! – delicious and refreshing drink that’s perfect for any occasion. Made with a blend of juicy peach and mango nectars, it’s a light and fruity drink that’s sure to satisfy your thirst.

Pros:

1. Quick service

2. Attractive presentation

3. Generous serving size

4. Ability to customize orders inside of bundled packages

5. Includes complimentary Cafe americano coffee

Cons:

1. Limited beverage choices (no soft drinks, fruit shakes or juice pitchers)

Conclusion

Our experience at August Cafe and Restaurant was amazing. The staff welcomed us warmly and the service was great. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The place was spacious, clean, and relaxing, and the view was stunning. It was a great place to escape the city. The only downside was the narrow road leading up to the restaurant and the steep slope. We would also recommend not upgrading the drinks that come with the breakfast meals, as they only reduce the price of the drink by a small amount. However, if you prefer Filipino food, you might not like the food options. Other than that, it was a great experience and we highly recommend it.
